We are proud owners of boats Tørring Kanoudlejning & Kanofart and Silkeborg Kanocenter, where we offer unique experiences on the Gudenåen and Silkeborg Lakes. With our two bases, we can give you the best starting point for an unforgettable trip in Canoe, Kayak or Motorboat.
Tørring Kanoudlejning & Canoeing - where Gudenåen begins
In Tørring, Gudenåen starts its journey from Tinnet Krat and flows north. From here you can experience the southernmost and most scenic part of the river - always in the direction of the flow. Our base in Tørring has everything you need for a good start to your trip:
- The Canoe House: A lovely place with covered tables/benches where you can enjoy breakfast or pack in peace and quiet.
- Toilets and plenty of space: Convenient facilities make it easy to prepare for your trip.
- Parking: A large parking lot close to Kanohuset, where parking costs DKK 25 per day.
If you choose to purchase car transportation, our skilled partners will take care of driving your car to the final destination. Please note that parking is still payable for the days you are away.
Silkeborg Kanocenter - Sailing on the beautiful Silkeborg Lakes
From our base at Silkeborg Harbor, we offer canoe, kayak and motorboat rental for hourly sailing. Here you can experience the unique opportunity to start and finish in the same place. Explore the Silkeborg Lakes and sail all the way from Silkeborg to Ry or Klostermølle - and back again.
The Silkeborg Lakes and the area around Søhøjlandet is known for its fantastic nature and cozy atmosphere. It's a perfect destination for those who want a flexible and relaxed trip with both nature experiences and the opportunity to explore the area at your own pace.

From our base at Silkeborg Harbor, we offer rental of Canoes, Kayaks and Motorboats on an hourly basis. Here you can explore the Silkeborg Lakes and sail out from Silkeborg Harbor, where we and our skilled team of young people will draw maps and guide you on the right trip for you. It is actually possible to sail on the stretch between Silkeborg and Ry, yes, all the way down to Klostermølle and back again in a canoe or kayak, but you "only" get all the way to Klostermølle and back again if you set aside 3 days for such a trip... The perfect choice if you want to start and end in the same place.
