Accommodation
When you pick up your canoe or kayak at the starting point, there will always be a map ready for you. On the map, you'll find icons indicating the different types of accommodation. To read about the facilities at the different accommodations, you can click HERE.
Tent pitch:
Modest pitch with cold water and toilet. Some pitches have better toilet and shower facilities. Common to the tent pitches is that they are intended for primitive accommodation in tents or similar. The pitches can also be used as a rest area. Tent pitches are usually without regular supervision. Most pitches require an overnight fee to be paid. See the list below for the prices of the individual pitches. Reservations are generally not possible, with the exception of Kongensbro Teltplads, where there are three shelters that can be reserved in advance for DKK 100 per shelter.
The campsite's rules of behaviour, such as lighting fires and night rest, must be observed. All campsites are located directly by the Gudenåen or Silkeborg Lakes.
Campsite:
Well-equipped pitches with sanitary amenities - many with good toilet and shower facilities. There are kitchens, laundry facilities with washing machines and tumble dryers, TV lounge, playground, often a swimming pool and many other facilities to make your stay more comfortable. Most campsites have shopping facilities with varying opening hours and selection.
Campsites are always supervised and there must be a night rest after 22:00. Other campsite rules are stated in the camping regulations and are enforced by the campsite management.
An overnight fee is charged at all campsites and the prices for each campsite are listed below.
